We only went for four days, but it feels like four weeks! Many impressions and beautiful sites.
We saw a happy family – the parents just got married. They had their pictures taken on the shore of the Lago Maggiore, as we were having lunch in a small restaurant in the old port of Arona.
Next we went to Novara, a less known, yet quite large town in Piedmont. It was very hot, but very pleasant to walk though the narrow streets of the town.
According to the sign, you can buy this place, and the interior is stable. I liked this high, and crooked door.
We had a delicious Italian ice cream of salty caramel and cream.
There weren’t many tourists in town, but everybody was eating ice cream!
Just look at that very exceptional church tower. From close by, the tower is less impressive than from a distance, but still a very intriguing building.
Back at the campsite, a terrible thunderstorm broke loose. The Lago Maggiore turned black. We didn’t sleep well, also as it was the last night of this short vacation.
This was the view of the lake on the morning that we left.
